Yesterday my schedule was taken away and I am allowed to type only when summoned due to emergency. Not enough to pay my insurance/bills. Im broke. I dont know who to contact about getting assistance until I can get a job. Help please. I am living rent free with a friend but need to pay insurance, a loan from my credit union, food, internet to be able to work, and loads of medical bills.

in response to aworriedwife...   Perhaps, your husband could purchase some insurance
      OR
He could go to an Urgent Care clinic & just pay for it out of pocket.
      OR
Call your city hall or volunter ministries to check if there is a free clinic in your city. Most people don't know they exists in their towns, but they do.
      OR
He could go to the emergency room. They have to see him & provide emergency treatment.

I wish you both the best.

He has an ear disease that is affecting him in so many ways, his memory has faded something horrible, he is a truck driver, has sleep apnea (has a machine in his truck) and it worries me all the time about his hearing. Is there ANYONE out there that can help him, Is there a Doctor that cares enough to cut the cost, write it off or let us make payments to get him help? Or do we just let this infection eat at his brain till hes gone? SOMEONE please give me some information to help me!!

With out a car i have no way of getting to my tysabri treatments at the hospital in elk grove village IL and to my kids and to the store for food and to the store to my my bills. taking a cab is pointless because it would coast me more than $90 dollars a month to get there and a tank of gas is only 30 to 40. I only get SSA i am not working anymore because of the MS but i am still able to drive. I will not take a bus because that would take three hours to get where i need to go when i could drive there in 30 mins. I am looking for a loan or a grant of 10,000.00 for a car please help. Hello. My name is Donald and me and my wife just recently purchased a new trailer. If anyone has read my profile, you would see what my situation was.

On Dec 7, my father-inlaw past away. Unfortunately it wasn't until shortly after that that I got the new trailer. My mother-inlaw needs to move out of her old trailer. Unfortunately she is handicapped. I was wondering if there is any assistance I can get in building a handicap ramp to attach to my trailer so that she would be able to get into my trailer a lot easier. I am not asking for money, maybe just a donation of lumber so that I can build it myself.

Thank you for any info anyone may have.

I am a divorced permanently disabled woman, I have a large service dog and we are in need of a reliable vehicle with air conditioning and which will accomodate my large service dog, I have to drive to the valley and back to ventura county a few times a week, for various doctors visits and really need a vehicle, I have signed up for cars for causes but they say it could take 3 years to get a vehicle and  I offered to donate my 71 super beetle  which is in very good working order (but due to my health issues and having a service dog I cannot travel in it since it does not have Air conditioning. I am trying to find a program that will help me get a vehicle and one which is reliable - I am in terrible need of a vehicle and it is necessary for me to find  a car within the next month before the hot weather hits.  I do not have a very good credit history due to health problems and inability to work and so forth. so does anyone hav eany suggestions?

Like Cassi, that I just read about, I to am in need of dental help.  I have 7 teeth in my head, 4 are absessed for the past 3 years.  The poison is going thruout my body for all this time, down my neck, I live in constant pain in my jaw, neck, and mouth.  I hope there can be a grant, or a fund for people who have no way or means to pay for dental health, as Cassi and I are probably 2 such people among 200,000 that desperately need teeth care.  Please help us, I just need 2 teeth in front of my partial bridge that was made, thats been broke for 10 yrs and was never realiagned, and 4 teeth that need rootcanal work or to be pulled.  They're black thats all I know and they hurt.  I need help with the teeth and a used car, to get to and from the Dr, as I live in Reno NV, and now its snowing.  I have too many illnesses to be walking around in snow.  Plus I don't own any snowboots.  No money to pay for any either or gloves.

Thank you and God Bless You

      Hello,

I feel for you about the pain you are having with your teeth. I went  thru the same thing years ago. Is there a medical/dental school in your area that takes patients for  dental care? Or see if there is an agency/charity that can help you. Also I found these websites that might be able to help. Go to the sites and follow the instructions to get registered. Hopefully, you can get the help you need. I will pray that you can get the help right away. Best of luck and GOD bless.

Hi, I am a 26 year old single mother of three and I have over 15 teeth in my mouth that several dentists have told me that they need to be all pulled at the same time with oral surgery and then I have to have partials put in right away. I work and make $9.00 per hour and with the three kids, I just can't afford to do any of this  dental work as I have rent, daycare and it is hard.  The pain is there everyday and it is causing me to miss time from work which is not good.  Please let me know if there is a grant out there that I could obtain.

      Sincerely,

Been using the same family doctor for 14+ years, three kids, all but one delivered by this doctor.. Well I owe $1,112.69 been paying something every month for year, even after losing my job in 12/08, NOW I get a letter  telling me to find a new doctor. NOW I am almost sure this doctor would not make the decision to do this, but the CORP. he works for must be.  Funny thing is NOW I am on State healthcare and they pay 100%, so why would they not want to do business with US. Now I am sure there are people who owe money, but come on $1,000 to a DOCTOR (one of the highest paying jobs in U.S.A) and they are crying!

Reply to Kaimanu---You must be suffering so much, I am so sorry you have to endure this. Do you have a low income health clinic in your community? If you so you probably have a dental clinic for low income also. In my state of Washington their called CHAS clinics and mostly people that have no insurance or their medicaid does not cover their dental can get help on a sliding scale, depending on how much they make. You should call your community action center and they will tell you where the closest clinic is located. I will give you some names of aidpage angels that have 100's of resources listed in their pages and I know you will find what you need. Names:  WHOKNEW---Rosie327---Elaine of TSA---and Soulight--also Friendshelpingfriends---Some of these sites even list resources by state and if you don't see the names on the main page just type them in at the google window at the top of the page and click on aidpage under the window and then search. Goodluck

My girlfriend is 26 yrs old and has had some extreme stomach pains for 7 months. The doctors told her she had a hyperactive gallbladder and removed it 6 months ago. The pain is still there. She cries at night and has gone into a state of depression. She can only work 1-2 days a week due to the pain. She has had every test that could be done and still doctors and surgeons are scratching their heads. She also has Endometriosis and the doctors think that might be what is causing some of her discomfort. She is not covered under any type of insurance and every time she applies for any type of assistance, they turn her down because they say she earns too much money. They are going by income that she earned at the begining of last year. Now she only brings in $600.00/month at the most, yet she is still turned down. The medical expenses are well over $40,000.00. and they say they will not do surgery to get rid of the Endo unless she has money up front.

Is there any type of grant or assistance program that could help her? Any information at all would be a godsend. Thank you!
